University Carol Service 2014
The University Carol Service will be held in the McEwan Hall, Bristo Square, on Sunday 7th December at 7.00 p.m.
All students and staff, and their families and friends are welcome. Arriving early (6pm) is recommend due to the popularity of this annual event.

Music and song
The service will feature popular carols and readings from the Christmas story, read by students and staff from a variety of traditions. It will include performances from:
- The Edinburgh University Singers
- Edinburgh University Renaissance Singers
- The Salvation Army Edinburgh City Corps Band
- John Kitchen, University organist
The evening's music will also include the world premiere of a piece in the style of Byrd, by music student James Ritzema.
A reception will be held afterwards at the Chaplaincy Centre.
