Launch.ED - Get Innovating
Experience the way an entrepreneur has to think and act when faced with a real life challenge and get some practical experience of identifying real opportunities - including the potential to develop new products and services with real economic and social impact.
Get Innovating!
Get Innovating is a fun, interactive workshop open to any student or member of staff at the University of Edinburgh.
In groups you will be set a real life challenge and tasked with finding innovative ways of completing it. To help you do this, our facilitators will guide you through the key stages of design thinking, including:
- Observation
- Insight development
- Ideation
There is even the opportunity to do some research with the help and support of the workshop facilitators.
The workshop takes place on 17th February 2014 from 5-9pm in the David Hume Tower Conference Room.
Creativity and Innovation
The workshop is equivalent to 'Module 1: Creativity & Innovation' of the Scottish Institute for Enterprise's Innovation & Enterprise programme. All participants will receive a certificate from SIE for completing the module.
