Background

India-based Rishav Ghosh (Born: 12 January, 2000) has written and directed over fifty corporate films, and more than ten independent fiction and non-fiction projects; the most notable being Synthetic Sati (2019), available on Hoichoi and Amazon Prime Video. Recognised by Times of India as one of the youngest filmmakers of India, Ghosh's work has garnered accolades, including the Dadasaheb Phalke Film Festival Award for Best Director (Student). A two-time Gold Medallist from his universities, Ghosh is a Film Studies post-graduate (Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India) and a Film &Television Production graduate (Amity University, Noida, India). He has authored two novels: Sanjivaneer Sandhane (2013), and Eighteen Scars (2014). He has worked in Eastern India's biggest media organisation, SVF Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., as Film Director of 'New Media' Department and is presently frontlining the business development and leading the 'Film Division' of Power Publishers & Motion Pictures.
