Early career researcher workshop in Chile
Early career research staff are invited to apply to attend an international event on the theme “Interculturality and Multiculturalism: the challenges for changing societies”.

The eighth Universitas 21 Early Career Researcher Workshop will be held 4-6 October 2017 at Pontificia Universidad de Católica de Chile.
Each workshop's main aim is to encourage international networking, but also tackles career developmental topics such as grantsmanship, journal editing and innovation and knowledge exchange.
It will cater for researchers who gained their doctorate in the past eight years.
How to apply
A provisional programme for the event and an application form are available online at the links below.
Forms must be submitted to the University Secretary's Group by 5pm on Monday 24 April.
The University will contribute up to £1,000 per staff member towards the travel and accommodation costs of attending.
Objective
The workshop will address two major social contexts that bring about challenges regarding interculturality and multiculturalism in changing societies: human migration and intergroup relations involving indigenous non-indigenous communities.
