Innogen marks 10 years
Innogen, the University-based ESRC Centre for Social and Economic Research on Innovation in Genomics, is to mark its 10th anniversary with an event at the Playfair Library.

The event will feature presentations from leaders in science and innovation, offering their thoughts on Scotland’s scientific future.
It will be chaired by Professor Andrew Morris, Scotland’s Chief Scientist for Health.
Life sciences innovation
Innogen is a partnership between the University of Edinburgh and the Open University.
Its researchers explore innovation in the life sciences and address the social impact of innovation on global challenges.
Throughout the past 10 years, the centre has built a worldwide reputation for its skill in bridging the gap between research and policymaking, as well as its academic interdisciplinarity.
