Main library café opens

The Main library’s new ground-floor café has opened for business.

The café offers a range of food including salads, paninis, baguettes, breakfast rolls, nachos and baked potatoes.

Fairtrade teas and coffees are also available.

Ongoing redevelopment

The new-look café has moved to the ground floor and is part of the ongoing Main Library Redevelopment Project.

The remainder of the Library’s ground floor is scheduled to open on 1 July.

It is a huge improvement and a more enjoyable place to work. Everyone was expecting it to be more expensive but they have found it to be reasonably priced.
