Staff kids join Chemistry
School of Chemistry staff members are invited to bring their children to work as part of Chemistry Week.

The School is working with the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) Local Section to host a ‘Bring Your Kids to Work’ afternoon.
Introducing Chemistry
Children aged six and over will take part in chemistry model making, tour the department and watch a demonstration lecture.
It takes place on 6 November at the Joseph Black Building.
Public lectures
The School is also hosting two lectures for Chemistry Week.
The lectures will be delivered by the School’s academics Dr Paul Murray, Dr Jenny Rodgers and Professor Colin Pulham.
Both lectures are targeted to family audiences.
Dr Murray’s talk will appeal to children aged eight and over and Dr Rodgers and Professor Pulham’s talk is for the over 14s.
How to book
Both events are free but you need to reserve your place with Dr Elizabeth Stevenson.
