Music in Human and Social Development Research Group seminar series

IMHSD seminars and workshops bring together researchers, theorists and practitioners across multiple disciplines including music psychology, cognitive neuroscience, medicine, linguistics, philosophy, education, sociology, community arts and music therapy.

Our aim is to further scientific understanding and practical application of music as a therapeutic, educational, artistic and social tool, while investigating the complexities of human musicality, musical intelligence and musical communication.
