Clips
Clips is an inspired series of film screenings and public discussion focused on the ARTIST ROOMS collection.
It is organised by the ARTIST ROOMS Research Partnership, based at the University of Edinburgh and directed by Professor Neil Cox.
The Research Partnership is motivated by a collective aim of forging a new kind of initiative to develop high quality and engaging research around the collection and associated activities. With this latest initiative, the series considers moving image in art contexts and in the ARTIST ROOMS collection.
The brainchild of PhD candidate Ruth Burgon, Clips was developed by three MSc Interns, this series of screenings aimed to draw from a rich history of filmmaking showing 16mm, video and digital films all of varying lengths and encompassing a wide range of themes.
