Final Degree Award
Degree Programme Classifications are expected to be communicated to you via MyEd: EUCLID student view.
The University deadline for the release of degree results is Monday 17 June 2024.
The School of Biological Sciences will release degree results for each programme by the deadline above:
- Biological Sciences (Biochemistry)
- Biological Sciences (Biotechnology)
- Biological Sciences (Cell Biology)
- Biological Sciences (Development, Regeneration & Stem Cells)
- Biological Sciences (Ecology)
- Biological Sciences (Evolutionary Biology)
- Biological Sciences (Genetics)
- Biological Sciences (Immunology)
- Biological Sciences (Molecular Biology)
- Biological Sciences (Molecular Genetics)
- Biological Sciences (Plant Science)
- Biological Sciences (Zoology)
These will include degree classifications for those taking variations of Biological Sciences with Management.
An automated email will be sent to your University email account when the final result is available. This email will contain a link to the page where the final result can be viewed. This will be the sole route for release of results.
Those on (BMedSci Hons) and (VetSci) (Hons) will be informed separately of Degree Programme Classification outcomes.

Availability
Monday - Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm
Undergraduate degree classification is determined using the ratio 1:2 for marks received in 3rd and 4th years.
Exceptions to this are for those who took a full year abroad as part of the International or Erasmus exchange schemes or for those studying for a BMedSci or VetSci Hons whose classification is normally calculated entirely using results gained in Senior Honours.
If students have taken a part year abroad, their results are calculated appropriately using the results gained while based in Edinburgh.
Careers Service for Graduating Students
- All graduating students can continue to access the Careers Service for 2 years after the end date of their programme.
- The Careers Service provide intensive graduate coaching sessions, online toolkits and careers newsletters.
