Health and Wellbeing
Advice and Counselling, Health and Safety, Diversity and Inclusion and Help with Studies.
At its best, University life is rich and rewarding, but all of us go through difficult times or have circumstances that can affect our studies.
The University has a range of support available for students including the Students' Association's Advice Place, the Chaplaincy, the University Health Centre, the Student Disability and Learning Support Service, the Student Counselling Service and Wellbeing Advisers.
If you find yourself struggling due to illness, an accident, bereavement or any other issue, the Student Support Team and your Student Adviser are available for help and support.
Emergency student support (out of hours)
Students who experience a crisis outside normal working hours can contact the University for support through the University Security 24/7 contact number 0131 650 2257. Please also visit the University's out-of-hours Student Support website. We hope that you will never have to use this page but it's good to be aware of it just in case.
