Over 5,000 people from 140 countries have graduated from the University's online programmes since our first online masters was launched in 2005. On top of this, the University has also developed over 50 free short online courses (MOOCs) in the past decade, increasing our provision for open global education.
This summer sees Edinburgh hit a new milestone, becoming the first university in the UK to offer a MicroMasters programme. This gives learners access to short online masters-level courses for free and without the commitment of a full degree.
