Research summary
My research focuses on child and adolescent mental health, with a particular emphasis on cyberbullying victimisation and its psychological consequences. I am interested in both internalising outcomes (e.g., depression, anxiety, non-suicidal self-injury, suicidal ideation) and externalising outcomes (e.g., bullying perpetration, substance use, conduct problems). I am also interested in the mechanisms through which cybervictimisation affects mental health as well as potential protective factors that may buffer these effects, such as emotion regulation, self-esteem, and social support. Methodologically, my work employs meta-analysis, structural equation modelling, longitudinal cohort studies, propensity score matching, and I am also actively learning other emerging methods (e.g., deep learning).
