Background
I am from Mexico and currently a PhD researcher at the University of Edinburgh's Divinity School. My thesis title is "The Franciscan Intellectual and Cultural Legacy at Tlatelolco College and Diego de Valadés' Rhetorica Christiana in Early Colonial Mexico (1523-1582)".
Before coming to Edinburgh, I undertook a ministerial training (Bachelor's in Theology) in Mexico City, at the Presbyterian Theological Seminary of Mexico (PTSM) in 2016. Following my first degree, I pursued a ThM in World Christianity and Intercultural Studies at the School of Theology of Yonsei University, South Korea, in 2018. At the completion of my master's, I went back to Mexico to teach ecclesiastical history at the PTSM for four years. Finally, in 2023, I did another ThM but now in "Scottish Church History and Theology" at the University of Glasgow.
