Background

Suzanne graduated from The University of Liverpool in 2011 and spent over four years  in small animal practice before she did her residency in clinical pathology at the Royal Veterinary College, University of London. At the end of her residency, she became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Pathology (Clinical Pathology) in 2019. Suzanne also gained a Master's Degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Royal Veterinary College. She then spent two years working as a Clinical Pathologist for IDEXX in Wetherby, West Yorkshire, before moving to Edinburgh to begin her Lectureship. She is interested in all aspects of clinical pathology, particularly bone marrow cytology, equine clinical pathology and exotic animal haematology.  Additionally, she particularly enjoys student and resident teaching. She gained her FHEA in 2024.
