Background

I joined the University of Edinburgh as a Lecturer in Clinical Psychology in 2021 and hold an honorary post in Clinical Neuropsychology with NHS Lothian. I have worked in both academic and clinical roles since completing an undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Edinburgh and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Glasgow. I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with the British Psychological Society and have been accepted onto the Specialist Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists.

Clinically, I have worked in acute, post-acute and outpatient neuropsychology settings and have experience in complex neuropsychological assessment and formulation; rehabilitation interventions to aid recovery and adaptation; psychological therapy to support emotional-wellbeing and adjustment; assessment of capacity; and assessment and management of risk. Academically, I have held Lecturer posts across both Clinical Psychology doctoral programmes in Scotland.
