Background
Subhashree is pursuing a fully funded PhD through ESRC-SGSSS DTP in Education. After completing her Masters in Education (M.Ed.) in India, she worked in the Indian education sector- first with an EdTech and then with a non-profit organisation. She has experience in designing educational interventions, assessment tools, literacy programmes, and teacher training, alongside conducting research and fieldwork focused on young children, particularly from marginalized communities. Recognised as a UNESCO, India and 8one Foundation Changemaker in 2022, her doctoral study would explore the academic resilience and coping strategies of marginalised students, aiming to shift the deficit narrative towards a strengths-based perspective.
