Background
I am a Research Fellow and Thematic Lead on Data Work in the Planetary AI project. I am trained as an interdisciplinary technology researcher and my current research centres on studying dataset production in AI, with a focus on the human labours involved in building and maintaining AI systems. My research builds on scholarship in Human Computer Interaction (HCI) and Science and Technology Studies (STS) and seeks to shape the design, policies, and practices surrounding emerging technologies.
