Background
Sonya is a first year PhD student at SRUC and The University of Edinburgh. She will be investigating the use of legumes in cropping systems to improve nitrogen use efficiency and decrease GHG emissions. Prior to this she did a BSc in Environmental Science at the University of Manchester and an MSc in Biodiversity and Conservation at the University of Sheffield. She has an interest in ecological sciences and hope to pursue a career in research in this field.
