Background
Sofia graduated from the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2016, followed by a small animal rotating internship at the hospital Ars Veterinaria, in the same city. One year later, Sofia joined the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies to complete her second small animal rotating internship and pursued her surgical career. After this, Sofia moved to England and worked as a Clinical Fellow in Surgery at the Royal Veterinary College. In 2019, Sofia began her Surgery residency at the Hospital for Small Animals R(D)SVS. She has been involved in different research projects and has developed a strong interest in trauma cases, fracture management and orthopaedic soft tissue injuries."
