Thesis title: Operationalising One Health for early warning of food insecurity and socio-ecological system breakdown in northern Kenya

Background

Sirimon isĀ  a Kenyan/British national with an academic background in Biology and a maters in One Health from the Royal Veterinary College and London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. He previously worked in wildlife conservation in Kenya and Gabon, focussing on human-wildlife conflict and community-led conservation. He then switched to One Health seeking a broader perspective on development challenges in sub-Saharan Africa. Most recently, he was working in South Sudan on generating and using data to inform decision making and prioritisation in humanitarian response.
