Background

Sakino became a permanent member of Asian Studies in 2013 and currently teaches Japanese language to all year levels. She is also Co-Coordinator of the Japanese Year Abroad.

In 2012, whilst teaching a part-time kanji workshop, Sakino won the EUSA Teaching Awards runner-up prize for Teaching in the International Classroom Award. She has also been involved with the JLPT programme since the university began hosting the examination in 2011.
