Background
Rie (they/them) has worked in the education sector for more than seven years.
They worked as a full-time teacher and part-time tutor in Japan, offering 100+ students in secondary education academic, pastoral, and career support.
Whilst working as a Student Experience Assistant at the School of Economics from October 2022 until May 2025, they are actively engaged in educational activities within and outwith the university with a strong passion in questioning assumptions ("philosophising").
