Background
Rebekah graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2011 and after a short stint in mixed practice, returned as a Horserace Betting Levy Research Scholar investigating the microbiological and immunological aspects of equine periodontal disease. She was awarded a PhD for this research in 2016. Rebekah then completed a four year residency in equine dentistry at the R(D)SVS and somewhere along the way completed a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice. She become a Diplomat of the European College of Veterinary Dentistry (Equine) in May 2022. Her clinical interests include all aspects of equine dentistry with a particular emphasis on equine periodontal disease. Rebekah is currently a Senior Lecturer in Equine Dentistry at the R(D)SVS Equine Hospital and is a European and RCVS recognised specialist in equine dentistry.
