Background
I'm a lecturer with a special interest in the modelling of blood flow and biofluids in microfluidic devices, vascular networks and biological tissues. My other research interests include bioinspired microswimmers and medical micro/nanorobots. Previously I was a PhD researcher (Principal's Career Development Scholar & Edinburgh Global Research Scholar) and subsequently a research associate in the Institute for Multiscale Thermofluids (IMT) at the School of Engineering, the University of Edinburgh (UoE). Before arriving in the UK, I worked on smart devices for nanomedicine in the Department of Mechanical and Automation Engineering, the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK).
