Biography

Background

My academic career started with my BSc 'Bio-pharmaceutical Sciences' at the university of Leiden (the Netherlands), where I also completed my two-year MSc with the same name. During my MSc, I specialised in cancer related research and this has piqued my interest in the interactions of cancer with the immune system.  Therefore, my PhD project aims to stratify neutrophil responses in glioblastoma (GBM) in patients. This project uses a broad range of web lab approaches (mass spectrometry, neutrophil functional assays), single cell proteomics and 3D imaging.
