I’m interested in how social context, especially other people’s knowledge and perspectives, shapes the way we process language. My research uses behavioural and EEG/ERP methods and is funded by the UKRI (AHRC).

Research summary

My research focuses on psycho- and neurolinguistics, particularly lexico-semantic processing, pragmatics, perspective-taking and Theory of Mind, "alter-centric" cognition, the influence of social context on language processing, and bilingualism. I use behavioural and EEG/ERP methods.
