Nima Dehdilani

Research Fellow

Background

I am a dedicated and highly skilled biotechnologist. My expertise lies in genome engineering by CRISPR tools, protein science, and bioprocessing. I successfully completed my Ph.D. in the field of biotechnology in 2021 under supervision of Prof. Hesam Dehghani at the Research Institute of Biotechnology (RIB), located in the Ferdowsi University of IRAN. As a visiting scientist, I collaborated with Prof. Bertrand Pain at INSERM in Lyon, France from 2017 to 2018. I advanced to a postdoctoral role at RIB in the group of Prof. Hesam Dehghani from 2021 to 2023. As a group leader, I have continued my research endeavours from 2023 to 2025 at the RIB. As a research fellow, currently, I have joined to the group of Prof. Mike McGrew at the Roslin institute, the University of Edinburgh, UK.
