Biography

Background

I hold a Master’s degree in Modern Foreign Languages (English and French) from the University of Padova, Italy.

I hold a Post graduate certificate in Teaching Italian as a second language from the University of Padova and the CEDILS certificate (Certificate of teaching Italian as a Foreign Language) from the University of Venice.

I am also qualified to teach English and French in Italian high schools.

Prior to moving to Scotland, I lived in a lovely city in the North of Italy, Vicenza, where I taught English in high schools and Italian to foreigners in local language schools.

In Scotland, prior to working for COL, I taught Italian to adults for local language schools and the Italian Cultural Institute of Edinburgh.

I currently teach a full range of levels from A1 to C2 at the Centre for Open Learning.

Beyond my passion for languages—I am fluent in Italian, English, French, and Spanish—I am a qualified tour guide for Vicenza and the Venetian villas, with a deep interest in history and art.
