Background
I am a Lecturer in EAP in the Centre for Open Learning and teach students at Foundation, Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels on a range of courses. I am currently the COL Director of International leading on the development and delivery of the Centre for Open Learning's international vision (from January 2024).
I have held Course Organiser oles for Pre-sessional and In-sessional courses and until January I was the Co-ordinator of ELE's suite of multidisciplinary in-sessional Academic language and Literacies courses (ALLIS) for taught students.
Prior to joining the University of Edinburgh, I worked with a diverse range of students and learners in educational institutions in Scotland, Germany, Japan and Egypt.
I am passionate about pedagogy; and about inclusivity in the curriculum, the classroom and beyond.
