Background
I graduated as a Modern Languages Teacher at the Universita' Orientale in Napoli (Italy) in 2004, where I developed a genuine interest in teaching my native language to speakers of other languages, therefore I moved to London, in 2004 where I began to teach Italian to adults for different organizations and at the Roehampton University, for academic students. I achieved a CELTA qualification at the Goldsmith University of London in 2008, and a TEFL qualification in 2016 at the TEFL Academy of London. I then moved to Edinburgh, where I taught Italian for several organizations, to then join the University of Edinburgh back in 2018. Since then, I have always loved and motivated students to learn my language and embrace the Italian culture and style of life, with passion and the ambition to inspire more and more student each term. I have also taught ESOL classes for refugees from 2019 to 2022, which gave me the opportunity to explore the importance to learn for survival, which was a touching and mind changing experience.
