‘Esprit de Corps’: Birth and Evolution of a Polemical Notion (France, UK, USA; 1721–2017)

Background

Luis de Miranda has been previously identified as an independent philosopher and novelist. Paris has published his first 13 books (essays or fiction – for example L’Art d’être libres au temps des automates). Some of his texts have been translated into English, Arabic, Spanish, Turkish. After Is a new life possible? was published in English (Deleuze studies), he was offered a University of Edinburgh Research Scholarship Award  to study for a PhD programme. Luis de Miranda is in the final stage of his thesis on the intellectual history of the notion ofEsprit de corps. At the University of Edinburgh, he is also the initiator of The Crag (Creation of Reality Group) and of the Anthrobotics Cluster
