Background
Louise joined the School in May 2012 from CAHSS Undergraduate Admissions as Institute Secretary to ICB, IQB3 (formerly ISMB) and IMPS. In July 2024, Louise moved in to the role of Institute Operations Team Leader.
Responsibilities & affiliations
In this role Louise delivers executive support to Head of School and Director of Professional Services, high level administrative support to Senior management, as well as managing a team of four Institute Administrators and one Administrative Assistant. As part of the role Louise is secretary to several committees that include School Executive, David Expedition Fund, James Rennie Bequest and EDI Advisory. Louise is also oneof the School Data Protection Champions as well as FoI Practitioner.
Louise is also the lead for the Working Carers Network in the School. And is responsible for the School's Additional Caring Costs Fund and the Career Coaching Programme.
Louise is also a trained Mental Health Firstaider and Fire Steward.
