Background
I joined the School in May 2012 from CAHSS Undergraduate Admissions as Institute Secretary to ICB, IQB3 (was ISMB back then) and IMPS. In May 2024, I was successful at interview and offered the role of Institute Operations Team Leader commencing July 2024.
Responsibilities & affiliations
As Team Leader of the Instiute Operations Team within the School of Biological Sciences I manage 6 staff. I also look after Head of School and Director of Professional Services.
I am also and active member and secretary to the SBS EDI Advisory Group and work alongside the Director of Inclusion and Diversity on initiatives in the School as well as the Athena SWAN applications. I am also the lead for the Working Carers Network in the School. I also lead on the School's Additional Caring Costs Fund and the Career Coaching Programme.
