Mrs Lindsey Ashburner (RVN, VTS(ECC), CertVN ECC, AFHEA)

Veterinary Nurse (Day Rotation)

Background

I am a Registered Veterinary Nurse at the Hospital for Small Animals and I specialise in Emergency and Critical Care (ECC).

I first qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2012 where I worked in a busy mixed practice. It was here that I found my love for ECC nursing and completed the VetsNow ECC Certificate. I was then lucky enough to be offered a job at the Dick Vet in 2015 and have been based in the intensive care unit since then. To further my qualifications, I have recently completed my Vet Tech Specialist in ECC training. I love all aspects of my job but have specific interests in pain management, blood transfusions and trauma cases.

Outside of work I have a very energetic Labrador cross Wirehaired Pointer and two cats who definetly rule the house! In my spare time I enjoy running and hill climbing.
