Background

I have worked in science communication and public engagement since 2017, at a number of institutions and organisations in Edinburgh and Scotland; Edinburgh Science (Festival), Dynamic Earth, University of St Andrews, Heriot-Watt University, and the British Geological Survey.

I have many years experience in developing impactful and engaging public engagement activities with researchers from many different specialities (not limited to life sciences), and a number of years experience in delivering effective communications for differing audiences.

Qualifications

BSc Biomedical Sciences - University of Manchester

MSc Science Communication and Public Engagement - University of Edinburgh

Responsibilities & affiliations

I am responsible for the communications and engagement from research at both the Centre for Regenerative Medicine and the Centre for Reproductive Health, as part of the Institute for Regeneration and Repair.

I am part of the People and Culture Forum at IRR, working to make it the best workplace it can be, and have formerly sat on the BioQuarter's EDI committee (disbanded in the CMVM restructure, awaiting formation of a new School committee to join).
