Dh'fhan mi ann fad bliadhna eile agus rinn mi Ceum Maighstireachd tro rannsachadh a-mhàin (MPhil) air cànanachas na Gàidhlig. Thàinig mi a dh'Oilthigh Dhùn Èideann às dèidh sin agus rinn mi Ceum Dotaireachd ann an Roinn na Ceiltis agus Eòlas na h-Alba. Cheumnaich mi le PhD ann an 2018. Fhuair mi obair mar neach-rannsachaidh aig Taigh Mhoireibh ann an 2016 agus an uair sin bha mi nam neach-teagaisg ann an Ceiltis is Eòlas na h-Alba eadar 2017-2018. Eadar 2019 - 2024, bha mi nam òraidiche ann an Gàidhlig aig Oilthigh Obar Dheathain. Thill mi a Dhùn Èideann anns an t-Sultain 2024. Sa bhitheantas, bidh mi a' teagasg air cùrsaichean Gàidhlig agus cànanachas na Gàidhlig.

 

I studied Gaelic at the University of Glasgow where I completed both an MA (Hons) and an MPhil. I completed my PhD in Celtic and Scottish Studies at the University of Edinburgh in 2018.  I worked as a Research Associate on an ESRC-funded project based at Moray House School of Education and Sport from 2016-17 and then as a Teaching Fellow in Celtic and Scottish Studies between 2017-2018. From 2019-2024, I worked as a lecturer in Gaelic that the University of Aberdeen. I returned Celtic and Scottish Studies at Edinburgh in September 2024 as a Teaching Fellow. I primarily teach on Gaelic language and linguistics courses.
