Background
Kieran Lamb is a PhD student on the MRC Precision Medicine CDT Programme with the University of Glasgow and the University of Edinburgh. His research involves using machine learning models on genome data to better understand the evolution of drug resistance from virus to cancer evolution. He graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2019 with a First Class BSc(Hons) in Computer Science before graduating again a year later in 2020 with an MSc in Bioinformatics with Distinction.
