Research summary

My PhD research investigates how meditative knowledge is legitimised in modern Thai Buddhism , analysing how the differing interpretations of the 'luminous mind' (pabhassara citta) in the Vijjā Dhammakāya, Thai Forest, and Buddhadasa traditions reveal their distinct underlying "architectures of authority".
