Biography

Background

I joined the University of Edinburgh as the Teaching Service Manager in the School of Social and Political Science in August 2020. I moved to take up the role of Head of Student and Academic Services in teh School of Health in Social Science in September 2024.

Prior to joining the University of Edinburgh I had covered a number of short term contracts at the University of Stirling in the Academic Registry and in the School of Health Science and Sport. Additionally I had previously worked at Heriot-Watt University for 15 years and also at Queen Margaret University College, now Queen Margaret University.

I am a career administrator within the HE sector and enjoy the challenges that working in higher education brings. My key strengths are people skills and data analysis/management.
