Biography

Background

Jiaxun Yang is a research assistant at the Institute for Computing Systems Architecture, working across operating systems, heterogeneous computing, memory tiering, and 5G Core Network/RAN systems.

His research interests include computer architecture and organization, operating systems, heterogeneous system software, memory technologies, embedded systems, and radio systems.

He is active in open-source communities such as the Linux Kernel and QEMU. He also holds amateur radio licences under the callsigns BH5HSO (China) and GM3HSO (Scotland).
