Biography

Background

 

Jorge graduated from the Autonomous university of Barcelona in 2014. After this, he undergone a general rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery in the referral hospital Ars Veterinaria, in the same city. One year later, he moved his career into the United Kingdom. He spent some time working in first opinion practice in Lancashire, England. Short after this, he was enrolled in his second general rotating internship in the Small Animal Hospital of the Royal (dick) School of Veterinary Studies, University of Edinburgh. During this period, his interest in Gastroenterology grew but did not reach its highest point until he started his Internal Medicine residency programme in 2017, which finished in 2020. He is currently a Lecturer in Small Animal Internal Medicine with interest in Canine Chronic Enteropathy as well as urinary disorders.
