Background
John Reynolds-Wright is a Senior Clinical Research Fellow and honorary NHS consultant in Community Sexual and Reproductive Health.
He was previously a NES/CSO Clinical Lecturer and was the first person to hold this post in CSRH in the UK.
In his clinical work, John is a committed abortion care provider, vasectomy surgeon, and community gynaecologist.
During his PhD, John led one of the two major telemedicine abortion care studies in the UK in COVID.
In his current research work, he is leading a series of projects on pain management during abortion; the provision of abortion and contraception via community pharmacies; and also works on contraceptive development studies (a 6-month female injectable method and a novel male contraceptive gel).
