Biography

Background

My current interest is in characterizing dimensions of the human brain and ageing (e.g. cognition,  neuroanatomy, gene expression, vascular health) and how they relate to each other.

This work is supported by Prof. Simon Cox's Sir Henry Dale Fellowship - a partnership between Wellcome and The Royal Society.

Qualifications

2017–2021: PhD in Psychology, The University of St Andrews, supervised by Dr Ines Jentzsch and funded by the Scottish Graduate School of Social Sciences (SGSSS)

2016–2017:  MSc in Human Cognitive Neuropsychology (Distinction), The University of Edinburgh, Highly Commended Dissertation Award

Responsibilities & affiliations

During my PhD (2017-2021), I had various teaching responsibilities in the School of Psychology at The University of St Andrews, including: Tutor for Advanced Principles of Psychology 1, and Research Design and Analysis 2; and Demonstrator and Marker for Fundamentals of Psychology 1 and 2, Advanced Principles of Psychology 2, and Research Design and Analysis 2. I became an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA) in May 2021.

I enjoy peer-reviewing papers within my area of expertise.
