Biography

Background

As a science communications officer, I play a key role in sharing, amplifying, and celebrating the research generated by the Row Fogo Centre for Research into Ageing and the Brain. I assist researchers and staff in effectively communicating their work to broader audiences. I develop strategies for outreach and recruitment from diverse communities and manage social media, branding, and news stories associated with the centre's trials and studies.

Prior to my role here, I worked in science communications and trial recruitment for the Clinical Trials Unit at the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Research at the University of Oxford. I took the lead on communications for major primary care trials such as PANORAMIC and PRINCIPLE. I also have worked in communications and events for The Oxford Research Centre for the Humanities (TORCH) and the Life Matters Suicide Prevention Trust.
