Jamie Smith
Background
Jamie joined the PhD programme in 2021. Prior to this, he had completed the SGPE MSc programme at the University of Edinburgh in 2016 and earned his Bachelor's degree in PPE from the University of Oxford in 2015.
After a spell working for the Competition and Markets Authority, he joined the Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission in 2018, becoming Chief Economist in 2020. In this role he specialised in merger control and competition assessment.
