Thesis title: DASH Intervention for gestational diabetes mellitUS (DINUS): A feasibility study among South Asian women with gestational diabetes mellitus living in Scotland

Background

I am pursuing PhD research at centre for cardiovascular science, QMRI under the supervision of Professor Rebecca Reynolds. I am post graduate in Human Nutrition and Dietetics. My current research focuses on optimizing dietary interventions for women with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM). It includes evaluation of standard care vs. modified dietary intervention after GDM diagnosis. My previous research is based on the management of dyslipidemia using plant-based ingredients on animal models.
