Background
I am a PhD student working on bilingual language processing and psycholinguistics. My PhD research focuses on how children with different language experiences—including monolingual, heritage, and returnee bilingual children—acquire and process morphosyntactic properties, such as case marking. Using Visual world eye-tracking paradigm, I investigate how children use grammatical cues to predict and interpret language in real time, and how these predictive skills translate into offline sentence comprehension and language production accuracy. More broadly, I am interested in how bilingual experience shapes language acquisition and cognitive processing across diverse bilingual populations.
