I have a research background in language education, applied linguistics, and educational psychology, with a focus on L2 motivation, teacher motivation, and Directed Motivational Currents (DMCs). My academic interests extend to multilingualism, teaching methodologies, equality, and intersectionality in language education, as well as technology-enhanced learning, digital education, and AI-driven instructional design.

With teaching experience as a lecturer in China and additional experience in the UK, I integrate digital tools and innovative pedagogies to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. My work bridges research and practice, fostering inclusive and effective learning environments across diverse educational contexts.
