Holly Tibble is a Chancellor’s Fellow in Medical Informatics at the University of Edinburgh's Usher Institute.   

Her research focusses on leveraging electronic health data into actionable clinical insights, particularly within the domain of patient behaviour.

  • Electronic health record analysis methodology and standards.
  • Medication Adherence: Building data-driven typologies to map out and understand complex patient behaviours regarding missed medications.
  • Real world evidence: Large scale studies of patient behaviour including prescription collections and blood donation.
  • Respiratory Health: Evaluating policy and practice changes, and developing risk prediction models to support asthma management.
