Background
Helena qualified as a Veterinary Physiotherapist in 2014, completing her postgraduate diploma in Veterinary Physiotherapy with distinction from Harper Adams University. She is registered with the National Association of Veterinary Physiotherapists (NAVP) and the Register of Animal Musculoskeletal Practitioners (RAMP). Before qualifying as a Veterinary Physiotherapist, Helena gained her primary degree in Mathematics and post graduate qualifications in Equine Science and Anaesthesia Practice.
After qualifying as a Veterinary Physiotherapist, Helena worked independently, with both equine and canine patients, before joining the REPAIR centre as a Veterinary Physiotherapist.
Helena is interested in the rehabilitation of patients with cruciate disease and fractures. Her background has led her to have interests in pain management and biomechanics. Helena also has an interest in developing objective outcome measures and is keen that we use these to promote our understanding of Veterinary Physiotherapy.
